Tax for being female -Pink Tax

Well in history we read about the injustices faced by women in all parts of the world whether it was the witch hunt practice in America & Europe or Sati like practices in Asia. 

But in the modern 21st century discriminations with girls goes on to continue. Girls has to pay an extra tax which is "PINK TAX" and this tax is for being a female consumer. In pink tax a gender neutral product such as phone, earphone, pencil, calculator etc  is packed or wrapped in pink or red colour and after that gender pricing is done.

For example a phone which is in pink colour is charged more as compared to the same phone in any other colour. Few other examples 

According to New York Department of Consumer affairs female has to pay 7% more than male , 13% more on personal hygiene at the same time income of female is 19% less than male.

So if you do not want to pay this tax you can simply opt for gender neutral products or avoid this pink and red colour.
